As a mountain village fractures under unseen forces, a man who believes language can save the earth and another who believes spectacle can sell it drive the village toward the same, irreversible disappearance.

Overview

When the land begins to fracture, the village does not collapse all at once. It recedes. Walls crack. Homes tilt. The ground withdraws. Nimoli is a remote Himalayan village caught between three silent peaks, where the wind carries a strange, persistent whistle. Pankul believes language can restore balance. Harilal believes disappearance can be sold. Between them, the land continues to shift. And eventually it collapses.
