Silver King the Horse
Acting
Biography
Billed as "The horse with personality", Silver King was a white Palomino horse seventeen hands high. Cowboy star Fred Thomson found Silver King in New York, and spent the next several years training him. Silver King could wink one eye, nod his head yes or no, push a person with his head, untie knots and more. Although Fred Thompson sadly passed away at the age of 38 (at the peek of his popularity), Silver King went on to work in several other westerns for Imperial Studios.
